Brandon Moore, born in 1975, primarily works in oil and dry media. He began formally studying painting in 2002 after moving to Montgomery, Alabama, where he apprenticed as a portrait artist under Sherrie Hilliard, formerly of Leon Loard Portraits and Arthur King Gallery. His works can be found in private and corporate collections across the county.

Moore's early artistic training began as a student at Auburn University’s College of Architecture, Design and Construction. He is a graduate of Auburn University (B.S., Agriculture), the Shelter Institute and is a member of the Institute for Classical Architecture and Art, as well as the American Society of Botanical Artists. Brandon continued his art education as a figurative drawing student under Michael Mentler at The Society of Figurative Arts in Dallas.

Over the years, and through a diversity of careers, Moore has honed his craft by seeking out one-on-one instruction from contemporary master painters through in-person workshops and studio sessions. In 2016 he was selected as part of the HAL Emerging Artist Program and has exhibited at the Huntsville Art League at Lowe Mill.

Moore resides with his wife of 26 years and three sons on his family's working row crop farm in the Tennessee Valley.
